A year of Engagements – 2017 engagement photographer
You may have already seen my 2017 Best of Weddings post which I put up a couple of weeks ago. It was such hard work narrowing down my favourite wedding photos to feature in that blog post, that there was no way I could have included my favourite Engagement photography too!
So I thought I’d dedicate a post just to all the lovely couples I’ve had the pleasure of photographing at their pre-wedding shoots in 2017!
I do love an engagement shoot! I always really enjoy the hour or so I get to spend with my couples in advance of their wedding days. More often than not, couples are a bit nervous about the prospect of being in front of the camera when we initially meet at the shoot. But each time, people relax when they realise I’m not going to be doing anything cheesy or forcing them into weird poses. Couples (and especially the guys!) have often said how much they ended up quite enjoying the experience!
Having an engagement shoot is all about helping you to get comfortable in front of the camera. It’s really just 90 minutes of having a bit of a giggle together! So often people just make do with taking a quick selfie before they go out somewhere together, so I love providing some lovely images that my couples can enjoy in advance of the wedding!
