South Bank Engagement Shoot
Waaaay back in the summertime (which feels like ages ago now!) I caught up with Abbey and Dan on the banks of the Thames on a gorgeous summers evening after work. We’d rescheduled the shoot due to bad weather and I’m so glad we did. This was the perfect evening for a shoot!
I had met Abbey and Dan at a wedding fair in Rickmansworth in 2016, so it was lovely to catch up with them again and to get to know them a little better. Not only are they totally gorgeous but also the best of friends and have so much fun together, it was a pleasure to capture some shots of them.
They did a fab job on their shoot, it’s always a bit more unnerving for couples when there are lots of other people about, and the evening sun had brought the crowds out to the banks of the river in their droves, but Abbey and Dan weren’t phased! It was a bit of a treat for me to do a more urban shoot, as being based in Hertfordshire, I tend to work in more green and leafy places for Engagement shoots. I love how colourful London’s South Bank is, and I was truly spoilt for choice with the number of amazing spots for photos and cool backdrops.
At the time of posting this I’ve actually already captured Abbey and Dan’s big (I am so behind with my blogging!) but it was an absolute belter, I can’t wait to share it with you, so watch this space!
