Hello! I’m Becky…
mummy, wife, photo-taker, gin and beer drinker, traveller, teacher, knitter, foodie, classic rock lover, eco-enthusiast and Monty Python fan.

Welcome to my little corner of the internet, it’s lovely to have you here!
If you’re reading this, I imagine you’ve had a little mosey around my site and would like to know a little more about the person behind the camera. Well, you’ve come to the right place!
I live in Hertfordshire with my husband Pete and little ones, Abby & Ben. Not forgetting our ginger cat-menace, Bernard. We ended up with him accidentally after he was abandoned at my friend’s vet practice. He loves shredding all my paperwork, sleeping, inexplicably hunting cable ties and pestering you for attention. But don’t give him too much, or he’ll give you little cat-kisses (aka bites). I’m actually allergic to cats, which I discovered after he’d lived with us for a week, but he was too cute to give back, and Pete was totally smitten, so here he stayed!
There are few things in life I like more than making new memories and reliving old ones with friends and family, whether that’s crunching about in autumn leaves on a windy walk to the pub for Sunday lunch, or jetting off on a new adventure somewhere exciting.
Now that we have space in our new cabinet, this year one of my goals is to collect a selection of craft gins to rival Pete’s whisky collection (It’s going to be a challenge – the man has a lot of whisky. But it’s a challenge I’m willing to take on).
I love chilled evenings in front of the telly, curled under a blanket, with a cup of tea, some custard creams, a box set and my latest crafting project to keep me busy.

i bloody love
my job
I’m extremely lucky to be in the incredibly fortunate position of bloody loving my job. Weddings are awesome! Even if I’m shooting at the same venue for the fourth time, every single one is different, because it’s a reflection of each couple, their individuality and their relationship – and the beginning of a new chapter in their story.
Running a business is hard work (especially with a small human to run around after), but I absolutely love it. The creative photo-taking part, and all the other stuff too. I don’t even hate doing my accounts! I’m a bit of a closet-geek and a total sucker for a nice organised spreadsheet.
Most of all, I love working with like-minded souls in love, who care most about throwing a totally epic party for their loved ones… and want natural, relaxed and timeless photographs to capture every detail.
If all this sounds up your street, then send me a message to check my availability for your wedding, or just to have a chat!
I was utterly overwhelmed and delighted to have been awarded Photographer of the Year in the Four Counties Wedding Awards 2019.
I totally didn’t expect to win such a competitive category! I’ve previously won ‘One to Watch’ in 2017 and and ‘Highly Commended’ in 2018, so I was totally chuffed to bag the top award!
I’ve also been shortlisted two years running for East of England Photographer of the Year in The Wedding Industry Awards, and picked up several photography specific awards for my work over the years
My approach
Relaxed – Natural – Timeless
I’m a pretty relaxed and laid-back person by nature, so I bring a lot of that to the way I photograph your wedding. You won’t find me rushing about making a big deal out of things or pulling focus on the day. I like to hide in plain sight, thoughtfully following the action as it unfolds and capturing those meaningful moments with my creative eye. I don’t do awkward posed photos – when it comes to that rare moment when your loved ones are all gathered in one place for a group photo, it’s all about genuine smiles and having a giggle.
My focus is capturing the two of you just as you are – happy, relaxed, and in love. When we sneak off for your portraits, I’ll give you some light direction to make you feel comfortable, but basically leave you to enjoy a few precious moments together. Throughout, it’ll be just like having a friend with a camera around. I’m with you on the day to preserve priceless moments in time that you can revisit as often as you like and feel the emotions all over again.
Moments that your children and grandchildren will feel a part of in years to come.
