Cara and James reached out to me in early 2019 to discuss the possibility of my capturing their wedding day at Offley Place later that year. I was absolutely delighted – they seemed like a really genuine and amazing couple and I was super happy when they booked me for their big day.
As part of their chosen Collection with me, they also booked an engagement shoot. It was definitely a case of third time lucky for this shoot – we actually met up at one point, but the heavens opened, so we decided to reschedule and wait for better weather! This happened again, and the weather wasn’t kind to us, but finally we managed to pick a gorgeous evening for their photos. I suggested Panshanger Park, a favourite shoot location of mine, where I often take couples and families for beautiful photos.
This might be one of my favourite shoots I’ve done here, the light was amazing and couldn’t have been more perfect. Cara and James were a little nervous in front of the camera but looked amazing together. They are so affectionate and it was so nice to see a couple who wear their hearts on their sleeves. They are totally besotted with each other and it’s clear to see!
