Becca & Russell | Hunton Park Wedding Photography

Back at the beginning of the summer season I spent the day with the super-gorgeous Becca and Russell for their special day at Hunton Park in Kings Langley, Hertfordshire.

I’d first met Becca and Russell way back at a wedding fair in 2016, and more recently had spent some time with them (and their loveable pup Milly) during their pre-wedding shoot at Panshanger Park in Welwyn Garden City (you can see it here).

I’d really been looking forward to this wedding as I’d had so much fun with this lovely couple on their pre-wedding shoot. They are so photogenic and despite Russell’s initial protestations, really natural in front of the camera! I began the day at Becca’s parents house in Welwyn Garden City, where she was busy getting ready with her bridesmaids, her mum, and her aunts (or ‘team wedding!’ as they are also known!). The atmosphere was buzzing and everyone was so excited for the day to come! Becca was looking stunning already as her hair and make up was completed, before everyone made their way to Hunton Park.

Once we arrived at the venue, the final preparations were made. The boys got themselves ready, and Becca got into her stunning dress – then it was time to say ‘I do!’.

Becca and Russell had been childhood sweethearts since they met at school aged 13, so it was so special to see them finally tying the knot in front of all their friends and family. There was so much emotion in the room as the couple exchanged their vows – from both the bride and groom but also from the guests. I even welled up a bit and had to hide behind my camera!

Once the ceremony was complete, there was a very spectacular confetti throw in the grounds, followed by lots of mingling and photos. I swept the couple away briefly for some photos in the beautiful grounds of Hunton Park, before it was time for the wedding breakfast, and speeches.

The couple danced the night away and celebrated in style with all their loved ones around them. It was a pleasure to be a part of such an emotional and special day, with two lovely people celebrating the start of their next adventure as a married couple!
