My Top Five Instagram Posts This Month | Best Wedding Photos in May 2018
May has been a busier than usual month for me – I had a baby! So I’ve been spending lots of time resting (where I can!) and getting to know our new arrival. Thankfully in this day and age we have lots of fantastic tools to help manage our social media, so thanks to Instagram scheduling and some hard work before I went on maternity leave, I have been posting regularly despite the lack of sleep and constant feeding and nappy changes!
I wanted to make sure I continued the trend of posting my most popular Instagram images each month, so please find some pretty pictures below for your enjoyment!
Don’t forget to pop over to Instagram to follow me on there for lots more daily posts. Comment on or like your favourites, and they might even make their way to the June roundup of my most popular posts!
# Five
This is the beautiful Laura, who married Oliver last summer in Oxford. This was one of my favourite weddings of 2017, and I’ve been lucky enough to have it featured on Love My Dress last month! You can head over here to read that blog post, and I’ll be blogging some more images from this fabulous day on here in the coming weeks, so look out for that.
I loved Laura’s gorgeous Halfpenny London dress and beautiful colourful bouquet put together by Wild Thyme.
#Four
Another photo featured from Katie and Richard’s rustic tipi wedding at the Henry Moore Foundation last summer. I loved their gorgeous naked cake decorated with flowers, and clearly Katie’s bridesmaids did too! The cake was actually made by these two lovely ladies – i think they did a fantastic job! The flowers on the cake are stunning and really fitted with the venue and styling of the wedding.
You can see more from this gorgeous wedding on my blog, here.
#Three
This photo of Jade and James was my third most popular image on Instagram in May. I captured some engagement photos for this lovely couple at Fanhams Hall in Ware last summer. The gardens at this gorgeous venue are absolutely stunning and provide such a fabulous backdrop for photos. I posted this photograph to accompany a blog post I wrote about why having a pre-wedding shoot is a great idea to help you feel comfortable in front of the camera – you can see that blog post here.
#Two
These lovely bouquets were from Emma and Gavin’s Gaynes Park wedding in spring 2017. These stunning flowers were created by Essex florist Luke and Lottie Floral Design, and I love the soft pastel tones that they used in the colour palette – just stunning!

#One
The top photo from my Instagram feed in May 2018 is this frame from Hannah and Daniel’s wedding. These two got married at the Castle Bromwich Hall Hotel, and I made use of the grand entranceway to the building for this evening shot to close their wedding album. I always like to try and create an evening portrait as it’s lovely to include as a closing image in a wedding album!
So there you go – these were my top five Instagram posts in May 2018. Did your favourite make the list?
