The lovely county of Buckinghamshire boasts some beautiful countryside, as well as some seriously stunning venues. Within easy reach of London, Buckinghamshire weddings are a great choice for any couple – as a Buckinghamshire wedding photographer I am spoilt for choice when photographing weddings in this county – there’s just so many different types of venues available to make for stunning weddings.
The elegant Hedsor House is nestled in gorgeous grounds, and is the perfect venue for a classic and stylish wedding day. The centre reception room with it’s balcony on all sides is the perfect setting for your ceremony, and later in the evening for dancing the night away. The 12th Century Missenden Abbey boasts vaulted ceilings and a stunning dramatic landscape – perfect for excellent photo opportunities! The gorgeous Notley Abbey is another favourite Buckinghamshire Wedding venue, with a fabulous history and wonderfully atmospheric reception spaces.
Waddesdon Manor and Dairy offers loads of flexibility for all types of wedding. The gorgeous Manor house boasts fabulous gardens, while the Dairy is a truly unique and tranquil waterside venue. If you’re looking for something a little different, I love the incredibly unique Fawley Hill, a restored Victorian train station. I just love the quirky signs on the platform and in the station reception room! Along the same (train) lines, you could also take a look at Buckinghamshire Railway Centre, another super gorgeous and quirky venue! If you’re after something more traditional, the lovely Stoke Place is a beautiful venue with fantastic gardens, lake and gorgeous ceremony/reception room.
