Wedding Photographer

What can I say about this stunning county? There is literally so much choice here for beautiful wedding venues, I don’t even know where to start! How about I start with my favourites! As a Cambridgeshire wedding photographer, venues don’t get much better than the incredible South Farm. No two weddings at South Farm are the same – you have the option for outdoor, indoor, barn or farmhouse weddings, with celebrations guaranteed to be totally epic. There’s a gorgeous bridal suite, and even colourful gypsy caravans for your guests to stay in. Photo opportunities are numerous here, it’s definitely worth checking out if you’re planning a Cambridgeshire wedding.

Staying on the lines of barn weddings, some more of my favourite spots include Granary Estates on the Cambs/Suffolk border (check out the summertime conrnfields!) and Bassmead Manor Barns – two incredible venues well worth checking out.

For outdoor weddings in Cambridgeshire, look no further than Lattenbury Hill Weddings where you can style your own wedding with a blank canvas venue, that comes with beautiful fields and awesome towering haystacks for photos.

If you’re looking for something a little more refined, I’d recommend checking out the Cambridge Colleges which are really gorgeous with incredible architechture. There’s also Madingley Hall, a really lovely Victorian venue. I would also highly recommend the beautiful Longstowe Hall with incredible colourful gardens – the view from the opposite side of the lake to the house is to die for! I also really love Old Hall Ely which boasts one of the best views from a wedding venue I think I’ve ever seen, with a vantage point out over Ely, and Ely Cathedral resplendent in the distance.

Sheene Mill and Minstrel Court are two beautiful lake side venues, which make for wonderful photo opportunities. There’s also the wonderful Anstey Hall which I’d recommend if you’re looking for a beautiful, grade 1 listed 17th century grand country house. A Manor House with a more modern edge is Swynford Manor, with a really lovely modern conservatory.

Lastly, for something completely off the wall, if you’re after a quirky wedding in Cambridgeshire, then look no further than The Missing Sock. This is a not-for-profit venue with loads of cool features including loads of outdoor chill out spaces, kids play area and a red double decker bus (yep!). It’s definitely worth checking out if you’re looking for something different!

As a Cambridge Wedding Photographer I absolutely love working at all of these brilliant venues. You can take a look below at some of the weddings I’ve photographed in Cambridgeshire previously. I’d love to chat to you more about your Cambridgeshire wedding plans, so please get in touch!
