Fun Hertfordshire Engagement Shoot | Jody & Dan
In November 2017 I exhibited at the inaugural Engage Wedding Planning Party which took place at the fabulous Coltsfoot Country Retreat. Jody attended the evening with a group of her bridesmaids, and they won the competition to win a complimentary engagement shoot with me! By the time we managed to find some time that worked in our diaries, it was February!
I caught up with Jody and Dan at one of my favourite Engagement Shoot spots in Hertfordshire, Sopwell Nunnery. You may have seen a few other shoots I’ve done here at different times!
I had a great time hanging out with Jody and Dan and despite the promised downpour, we managed to avoid getting wet, and there was even a bit of sun poking out from behind the clouds at times!
I loved hearing about Jody and Dan’s plans for their big day, taking place in the South of France in September this year! They’re planning a very small ceremony with their closest friends and family, before they move to New Zealand together (where Dan is originally from) to begin a new life together on the other side of the world! Having travelled around New Zealand a number of years ago, I loved chatting to them about their plans for this too – New Zealand is one of my favourite countries and I was so excited to hear about the life changing move they’re making together!
Jody and Dan were an absolute pleasure to photograph – so full of life and fun, and so relaxed in each other’s company.
If you’re thinking about having an engagement or anniversary shoot, I would love to hear from you to discuss it! Please hop on over to my Engagement Portfolio and drop me a line if you’d like to book something in.
