Hannah & Carl – Ashridge Pre-wedding Shoot

I always love it when my couples decide to book a pre-wedding shoot or choose a collection for their wedding photography that includes one. It’s such a great way to help me get to know them, and for them to feel a bit more at ease in front of my camera! I was really happy that Hannah and Carl decided to opt for having a pre wedding shoot, and we caught up in the beautiful Ashridge Estate woodland in April this year, with basically one month to go until their big day!

It was so nice to get to know the two of them a little better. I’d met them at a wedding fair the year before, so it was nice to get properly acquainted and to hear all about their plans for the day itself. Carl is a keen photographer and (I’m sure he won’t mind me saying) a little bit of a camera geek, so we had plenty to chat about!

We were really lucky to catch the bluebells out in the forest, so we started off taking a few shots with them. The bluebell window is always relatively short every year, but always makes for such lovely photos so I’m always keen to make use of it!

Here are a few frames from Hannah and Carl’s Ashridge pre-wedding shoot. I will be blogging about their wedding at Coltsfoot Country Retreat soon, so keep an eye out for that!
