You might recall I recently posted a blog about Nick and Claire’s Maternity Shoot in Panshanger Park, as they (along with the gorgeous Maggie the chocolate labrador) eagerly awaited the arrival of their little bundle.

Well, the little bundle arrived soon afterwards in the shape of little Elliott! Shortly before Christmas they invited me over to capture some photographs of their new family all together!

I love capturing special images like these, of brand new families right at the beginning of baby’s life. It’s such a special time. It can be a little stressful having a visitor over in the immediate aftermath of having a baby, but I keep it all very relaxed, and love to capture natural moments of your family together, even if that means crying babies and nappy changes! It’s all part and parcel of having a newborn.
