London

Wedding Photographer

As I’m based in the Home Counties, I’m lucky to have easy access to London and all it has to offer! There are numerous venues in London, and the opportunity for so many different types of day to be had, it’s hard to know where to start with your planning! There’s pub weddings, urban warehouse weddings, restaurant weddings, or weddings with incredible views and traditional architecture just a stone’s throw away. I love the hustle and bustle of an urban wedding in the centre of the city, but the outskirts of London also offers some fabulous locations for gorgeous weddings. Take a look at a selection of my previous London weddings below. Obviously there are hundreds of options for wedding venues in London! Some of my favourites are below. Set in the heart of trendy and bustling Islington, and a stone’s throw from Angel station is the stunning Frederick’s Restaurant. This lovely venue boasts a modern interior, pretty garden and terrace, and some seriously yummy food! The Peasant Clerkenwell is a lovely spot for an intimate wedding, as well as Union Club Soho, which both have fabulous quirky interiors. I’d also recommend checking out the Crypt on the Green in Clerkenwell, which is in the heart of the city and offers a moody setting for your celebrations. If you’re looking for something a bit different, I LOVE the modern interiors of Stoke Newington Reservoir Centre, and the proximity to the water makes for some fabulous photos. For a quirky hotel, how about the  Ham Yard Hotel? The décor here is so cool. Another fabulous venue is Trinity Buoy Wharf, which is a warehouse space let out for various events, so there’s so much you can do here to really add your own individuality to your day. The views across to the Milennium Dome and amazing!
For something more rustic and quirky I absolutely love the incredible Asylum Chapel, a hidden gem in central London with super cool dilapidated edge, including textured walls and an intimate feel, as well as Islington Metal Works, just a hop around the corner from Angel tube. This awesome venue also includes an old tube carriage as a bar! If you prefer a slightly more traditional venue though, check out Morden Hall at the end of the Northern Line. It’s still in close proximity to the city so easily accessible for your guests, but looking at the gorgeous house and Gardens set in Morden Hall Park, you’d never know you were in the middle of Greater London! Kew Gardens is an incredible venue, with gorgeous gardens and iconic buildings, it’s one of the most stunning spots in London. And speaking of iconic London landmarks, how about getting married at the top of the Gherkin, with one of the most epic views of the London Skyline that you could imagine?! If you want to bring the outside in, take a look at the Barbican Centre – getting married in the conservatory combines brutalist architecture with 1,800 species of tropical plants, all bang in the centre of the city. If you’re planning a wedding in London at these venues or any others, and are looking for a London Wedding Photographer, I would be delighted to chat to you about your plans, so please drop me a line to tell me what you’ve got in mind for your big day!
