Couple with horses on Farmyard Engagement Shoot

Farmyard Engagement Shoot

I’d just got back from a couple of weeks on holiday when I met up with these lovely ladies for their Farmyard Engagement Shoot in mid-April. It was lovely to come back to work (if you can call it that, I don’t think of what I do as work really!) and spend some time with this lovely couple in the sunshine. We spent some time having a wander about on the farm that they live on. This couple are animal-crazy and have three dogs, a cat, four horses, chickens, and a pigeon that thinks it’s a chicken!

I first met Lucy and Victoria way back in July 2016 at a wedding fair, so we spent the first bit of the shoot catching up – it was so lovely to learn more about them and to hear about all the plans that they’d put in place for their big day in June. They were working so hard to hand craft lots of elements of their big day – making their own table centre, favours, and bouquets – I was seriously impressed!

At the time of posting this, I’ve actually already captured their big day at Grendon Lakes, and I can’t wait to share some of the images from what was a really special day, so keep an eye on the blog for that to pop up sometime soon! In the meantime, enjoy some frames from Lucy and Victoria’s Farmyard Engagement Shoot 🙂
