So that’s a wrap on 2018! What a year it has been. I won’t go into masses of detail about my year, as I did a bit of a summary in my 2018 Review blog which you can view here. I wanted to finish off the year of my monthly Insta reviews, and we might be basically half way through January now (already!?) but better late than never! Take a look below to see which of my posts in December made the cut. You’ll notice there’s a bit of a styled shoot theme!
#Five
This is one of several shots from this wonderful styled shoot that I captured at the beautiful North Mymms Park in October 2018. It was a collaboration between myself and a group of incredible local talent to produce this wonderful result. In this particular image, the floral fireplace installation by Rebecca Marsala Flowers totally steals the show! You can read all about the shoot and see all the pretty on my blog here.
#Four
The beautiful Offley Place in the snow is in at number four this month. This shot was from Mel and Rob’s wedding that took place in March when the ‘beast from the east’ hit! I was worried I wouldn’t make it there due to the snow, but thankfully the roads were clear and I got there with no problems, and so did pretty much all of Mel and Rob’s guests! You can see more from this wedding on my blog here.
#Three
Every time I post a shot from this wedding it ends up in my top five posts! This shot is another from Laura and Oliver’s wedding at the Bodleian Library in Oxford. I loved this wedding so much, from the stunning setting and architecture, to Laura’s beautiful dress, to the golden evening sunshine and the incredible florals. We only had a really short time to capture the couples portraits, so this shot was part of a quick wander around the outside of the library. It’s one of my favourites from the day!
#Two
Another couple of frames from the styled shoot. Such a stunning dress, which was Altafulla by San Patrick provided by Burr Bridal, and I absolutely loved the elaborate flower crown by Love From Becky. One of my favourite shots is on the left – I just love the gorgeous window light!
#One
December’s top image. No words for this window light, our gorgeous model, the beautiful dress, flowers, bridal suite… the list goes on. This was shot at the end of the day and is definitely one of my favourite images from the day. I love the gorgeous hair by Barberella Bridal Hair, and make up by Belle’s Beauty which completed the look!
So that brings my 2018 top Insta posts to a conclusion! It’s been really fun revisiting my Instagram feed and finding out which images come out as the favourites, so I will definitely continue doing it this year!
