I’m a bit slow off the mark this month doing my round up of my best wedding photos in November 2018! It’s been tricky to find the time to blog this year, and despite the winter season creeping in and in theory, weddings quietening down a little, I’ve found I have even less time than I did before! My little one’s personality is shining through more every day, and it turns out she doesn’t like it when mummy leaves her to amuse herself whilst I write a blog post!
So apologies for the tardiness of this post! But I wanted to get it up this side of Christmas, as I have a super gorgeous styled shoot that I’d like to share with you before the big day rolls round too!
As usual, I have collated the top images from Instagram last month, according to engagement analytics! I always find it so interesting to see what my followers enjoy the most on my wall!
So without further ado, here is the last of these posts for this year! Don’t worry – I will do a December one, but that won’t be up on the blog until January!
# Five
This is a photo from a 2017 wedding, of Emma and Matt. This is the lovely Emma arriving at the church with her brother who gave her away on the day. I love the pop of colour from the campervan!!
#Four
Many of my couples opt to have an engagement shoot in advance of their wedding day, which is exactly what Sophia and David did before their wedding this year. I always love it when couples choose to do this, as it not only helps them to feel more comfortable in front of the camera on the wedding day itself, but it also gives us a great opportunity to get to know each other better! I spent a lovely couple of hours with these two, and Joules the very bouncy pup, on their farm near Royston. Keep an eye out for two posts about their engagement shoot and wedding day coming to the blog soon!
#Three
Another engagement shoot here – this is Chloe and Will at their engagement shoot in London earlier this year. Their shoot took place at St Dunstan’s-In-The-East which is a gorgeous little hidden gem in the city of London. It’s a quiet little public garden alongside a church, with trees and greenery growing around the old part of the church. So pretty! You can see more of this shoot on my blog here.
#Two
One of my favourite 2018 weddings for many reasons, but this little ten minute interval during sunset, just as the heavens opened, was one of them! Thank goodness that Laura and Ben were so chilled and happy to stand in the rain so that this magic could happen. And then they dabbed! I love the golden sun streaming through the trees onto the front lawn of the beautiful Offley Place!
#One
The top photo on my Instagram this month is this frame which was a little teaser from a styled shoot I organised in October this year. It was too tempting not to share a little sneak peek of this gorgeous shoot, which was featured on Whimsical Wonderland Weddings a week ago! I worked with a team of incredible local suppliers and I am excited to be sharing this shoot before Christmas on my blog for you to enjoy, so keep your eyes peeled!
And a sneaky extra…
This actually did quite well on my Instagram too this month, but I didn’t want to include it in my top five as it’s not a photo that I took! But I was SO excited to be given a ‘Highly Commended’ award at the Four Counties Wedding Awards this year! Last year I was named ‘One to Watch’ so I am delighted to have gone one better this year!
So there you have it – my top Instagram posts for November 2018! As always, you can see my previous top posts on my blog here and follow me on Instagram here on @beckyharleyphotog.
Stay tuned for December’s top posts which will hopefully be live some time in early January! I have some fabulous weddings and content to share on here in the new year so do keep checking back to see what I’ve been up to!
In the meantime, I hope you’re all enjoying the festive season! I’m off to open my gin advent calendar and have another mince pie…
