As a natural wedding photographer, I think my favourite thing about photography, and particularly wedding photography, is capturing people, relationships and emotions. Amongst my favourite things to capture on a wedding day are the moments that make you giggle, laugh out loud, or even cry (in a good way!).
One of the things that I love best about my job as a wedding photographer is the fact that I’m able to give you so many of the moments that might otherwise get lost in the whirlwind of emotion on a wedding day – a whispered word, a little glance, a dabbed tear in the corner of your grandma’s eye, a cheeky flower girl or page boy running about outside, your mates egging each other on on the dance floor.
I like to hide in plain sight – my style of natural wedding photography is
unobtrusive, but still in the midst of your day so I don’t miss any of the best moments.
When it comes to your portraits, I like to give you the chance to take a step back from everything that’s going on, and give you 20 minutes together to take it all in and enjoy some (almost) alone time for the first time as a married couple. I offer simple direction to help you feel comfortable, then take a step back and leave you to it!
