A relatively new venue in Hertfordshire, and nestled in picturesque countryside that is only a short way from London, is the wonderful North Mymms Park. This luxury wedding venue is something really special, and well worth a look if you’re after an incredible wedding celebration that can accommodate up to 250 guests.
North Mymms Park is a breathtaking 16th Centry Manor house, with wonderful interior and exterior spaces which are perfect for incredible celebrations. Full of history, this wonderful venue has not one, not two, but seven spaces with the potential to create the day of your dreams. My personal favourite indoor space is the light and airy Marble Hall, with a chequered marble floor and grand fireplace.
Outside though, is where things get really special. One thing that makes this venue incredible unique is the outdoor marble loggia. Resplendent with in marble, mosaic and archways, this is a really unique location for drinks receptions and outdoor ceremonies and every time I visit, it’s beauty takes my breath away!
The gardens of North Mymms Park are stunning, and the venue is surrounded on all sides with incredible spots for photographs. Walking in the gardens you can just sense the history of the place.
I always think that one thing that really sells a venue is accommodation for guests, and this is one thing that makes North Mymms Park a perfect spot to tie the knot. The Stables area can house your guests, with a separate courtyard, bar and breakfast area.
This all sounds good, but I’ve not even told you about the separate bridal preparation wing! Yes, that’s right, the venue has it’s own wing, just for bridal preparations. The light in the rooms here is incredible, and you can be tucked away to make your preparations for the day, safe in the knowledge that you’re only moments away from your ceremony, so you’ve got no distance to travel to arrive at your ceremony!
