Oxfordshire Asian Wedding | Asian Wedding Photographer
Earlier this year I headed up to Oxfordshire to help my friend Lee Dann of Lee Dann Photography at this lovely Asian wedding.
Asian Wedding Photographer
While Lee spent the morning with the bride, I accompanied the groom and his family as he made his preparations for the day. There were a few bubbles in the morning and some emotional present-opening – and then I headed up to the main venue to capture the arrival of guests.
One of my favourite things about Asian Weddings is how colourful they are – there are always so many gorgeous saris to brighten up the room. However, the couple had decorated the room with lots of bright colours too – the ceiling was adorned with bright lanterns in all colours of the rainbow, and the tables were laden with gorgeous flowers and balloons, it was a sight to behold!
So much emotion
As the beautiful bride made her entrance accompanied by her family, the emotion in the room was palpable. The couple couldn’t stop smiling as they exchanged their vows in the traditional Muslim ceremony, and following that, there was a real outpouring of love from all their friends and family, as big hugs were exchanged around the room to celebrate the occasion.
Once the ceremony was over, Lee and I took the couple out around the grounds of the venue for some portraits. It was a real treat for me to capture the stunning details of both of the couples outfits, and to capture two people who are so in love and so genuinely happy. There were a few spots of rain but luckily it held off enough to extend our portrait session enough to go into a nearby field and small area of woodland – the couple were very good sports clambering around the slightly muddier sections, but both outfits were kept in pristine condition!
Thank you so much to Lee and to this lovely couple for having me along for the day, I had a brilliant time! If you’d like to chat to me about your wedding photography, I would love to hear from you! Drop me a line via my contact form today.
