Relaxed Engagement Shoot in Hertfordshire – Sam & Craig
In October last year I scheduled some time in my calendar to catch up with the lovely Sam and Craig in advance of their big day in March 2018. I’d previously met Sam before the couple had booked me to photograph their wedding, (when she’d come along to take a look at my albums and chat wedding planning!) but this was my first time of meeting her fiancé, Craig.
I always tell my couples not to worry or stress if they feel a bit awkward to start with during an engagement shoot. I’ve hardly met anyone before who really enjoys having their photo taken. And I know that being confronted with a camera can be pretty daunting, but that’s why I love doing pre-wedding sessions so much. It’s a great opportunity to get to know you, and for you to see that I’m not so scary after all with my camera!
This pre-wedding shoot was no different, and after an initial bit of chatter, Sam, Craig and I set off to explore Panshanger Park and to make some cool photos. It was at this point that I discovered that Craig is a cage fighter in his spare time – which I had no idea about! It was pretty cool to hear all about this, and also to hear all about the couples plans for their big day in March. Despite their initial assurances that it wasn’t the case, Sam and Craig were great in front of the camera and super relaxed, which was great!
I loved photographing this gorgeous couple on their relaxed Hertfordshire engagement shoot, and I think they enjoyed themselves too! Check back soon for a blog on their Hertfordshire Golf and Country Club Wedding, which is taking place at the end of this month!
