In July I was part of this stunning wedding at Silchester House. What a beautiful venue this is – a lovely private house with gorgeous gardens, a wonderful marquee and beautiful ceremony room. The styling at this wedding was amazing, with a delicate palette of peach and pastel tones with hints of gold – just look at the marquee – so pretty!
This couple were so much in love, and it was a very emotional day – everyone was so happy for them both to be tying the knot! All the weddings I go to as a photographer are special but it’s only occasionally that I’m moved to tears during the ceremony! I had to duck behind my camera to hide my eyes welling up!
After the ceremony, we went for a short wander in the beautiful grounds with some lovely long grass which made for some great couples photos, and then it was time for dinner! The speeches were fantastic, and the father of the bride had everyone in stitches!
After the speeches it was time for a boogie, and the new Mr & Mrs started off proceedings with a turn around the floor to Aerosmith’s ‘Don’t Want to Miss A Thing’ – which also proved to be a good singalong for all the guests!
