Cambridgeshire Wedding Photographer
I was excited to catch up with this gorgeous couple in Cambridgeshire last autumn, since I’d met Sophie to discuss their wedding plans back in the summer. I’d been concerned about the weather, due to rain and general dodgy weather in the few days preceding the shoot. I needn’t have worried though – the sun even came out for us towards the end of the session!
Sophie and Stu met at work, and share a passion for fitness. In fact, they first got to know each other going on runs around the picturesque Wimpole Estate! So it was lovely to take some Engagement photographs of the two of them there. I love Engagements shoots because they help my couple to get used to being in front of the camera. But these two were absolute naturals! I try to help couples relax whilst we’re doing Engagement photos, but I also like to learn more about them at these shoots, and we nattered for ages!
The colours were absolutely stunning at the Wimpole Estate, and the views over the Cambridgeshire countryside were incredible. As we started to head down the hill, the most beautiful autumnal golden sun poked it head out of the clouds, which made for some lovely shots. I am seriously looking forward to May when Sophie and Stu get hitched at Dodford Manor in Northampton!
