As I arrived at the beautiful South Farm in Royston to capture this wedding day, and drove up the gorgeous gravel pathway through a tunnel of stunning spring blossom, I was reminded how much I adore working at South Farm, and this wedding was certainly no exception!
As I arrived at the beautiful South Farm in Royston to capture this wedding day, and drove up the gorgeous gravel pathway through a tunnel of stunning spring blossom, I was reminded how much I adore working at South Farm, and this wedding was certainly no exception!
It was a gorgeous day for it, and South Farm looked absolutely stunning in the springtime sunshine. Whilst the bride finished her final preparations, I snuck in to take some shots of the gorgeous barn having it’s final touches applied by a dutiful groom-to-be!
The setting for the wedding was the beautiful gardens of the farmhouse at South Farm. As the bride and groom exchanged their vows in the gazebo in the middle of the gorgeous lake, I spotted several guests dabbing away tears!
After a fantastic confetti throw, I spirited the newlyweds away for their couples portraits. South Farm has so many beautiful spots for portraits – along the lovely tree-lined driveway, by the colourful gypsy caravans, any of the numerous fairytale gardens, and at this time of year with Wisteria growing on the wall of the house, and blossom everywhere you look, I was spoilt for choice!
After a delicious meal and some hilarious speeches (see evidence below!) the lovely couple cut their cake and took to the brand new glass dance floor that had only been recently installed in the barn. Then it was time for the guests to throw some shapes!
