St Albans Engagement Photographer | Issy & Alistair
Last September I caught up with Issy and Alistair in advance of their Winter Wedding at Milling Barn in December. It was a bit of a drizzly day, but we braved the weather and I was pleased that we didn’t get too damp!!
Because Alistair is a pilot in the RAF, it had been tricky to find a date that worked to schedule the pre-wedding shoot. It was also the first time I’d met him, as Issy had arranged everything earlier in the year in terms of booking me for their big day. It was lovely to hang out with the pair of them and get to know them both a little better, and hear all about how they met and their plans for their wedding in December.
I had suggested the location of Sopwell Nunnery in St Albans. This is a fab location for a St Albans Engagement shoot, with a collection of ruins of an old nunnery. You might recognise it from a Styled shoot I posted about last week! The weather was a little different and we didn’t quite get the golden sun we’d had for that shoot in July, but it was lovely all the same.
Below is a selection of a few photos from when I caught up with Issy and Alistair. If you’re getting married and are looking for a St Albans Engagement Photographer, or would like to capture some memories together and get some lovely portraits together as a couple for an anniversary or just for fun, please don’t hesitate to drop me a line as I’d love to hear from you! You can see more of my pre-wedding shoots in my Engagement gallery.
