Well well well! I have been so excited to share this stunning styled shoot with you on the blog!! I recently worked with a group of incredibly talented local suppliers on this beautiful collaboration to create these amazing inspirational images which showcase the best talent in the area at the most stunning new venue, North Mymms Park. If youre looking for North Mymms Park wedding photography then look no further!
I had the idea for a wintery shoot, at this beautiful new venue and worked with the lovely Gemma at The White Emporium to create the look and feel for the shoot. Katie at Songbird Weddings helped coordinate and put everything together.
North Mymms Park
North Mymms Park is a stunning Grade I listed Elizabethan mansion house set in 400 acres of parkland. The venue is nestled in the South Hertfordshire countryside with easy access to London. As soon as you walk in you realise how special this venue is. There are incredible spaces for making your day your own, with several different rooms licensed for holding weddings and some stunning larger spaces for your celebrations.
My favourite part of the venue is the stunning loggia situated in the gardens. It is a beautiful marble structure, and the light is amazing! You can hold outdoor ceremonies there, but for the purposes of our shoot I knew I wanted to make use of it as a key location.
Florals
I approached Rebecca Marsala Flowers to do the florals for our shoot. I’d been admiring her work for a while and thought her romantic and luxurious blooms would perfectly suit the venue and the look we were going for. She created a beautiful bouquet, buttonhole, living table runner and the most incredible floral installation on the venue’s beautiful stone fireplace.
The Bride and Groom
Our lovely models were styled by Claire from Barberella Bridal and Leah from Belle’s Beauty, and they created a soft autumnal look for our bride. We had two stunning dresses, one was a bespoke creation in wintery ice blue from Rachel Lamb design, and the other a more modern stripy dress which was supplied from Burr Bridal. The bride also wore a flower crown by Love From Becky, and delicate hand crafted silver jewellery from Coco Grey Jewellery, and shoes by Rachel Simpson. Our handsome groom was styled in evening wear from Chimney Formal menswear, and we added a blue velvet jacket for a touch of opulence, which was sourced separately.
The gorgeous details
To tie everything together on our shoot, we had a wealth of beautiful touches provided by wonderful suppliers. The cake was created by Meadowsweet Cakes, and styled by Gemma from The White Emporium. I loved how the grey stone style contrasted with the marble of the loggia.
The stationery suite was opulent and luxurious and finished with a velvet ribbon, all put together by the lovely Olive and Millicent. They also created stationery for our table which was styled with a luxurious velvet tablecloth, which served as a base for our living table runner and place settings created by Gemma. Meadowsweet cakes also provided individual cheesecakes for each place setting!
The whole shoot was an absolute dream to be a part of and Ioved every minute! Take a look below to see all the pretty! This shoot has also been showcased on Whimsical Wonderland Weddings, so you can also pop over there to read more about the shoot and the concept behind it.
This will most likely be my final post of 2019 so here’s wishing you a very Merry Christmas and a fabulous New Year!
