My Top Five Instagram Posts This Month | Best Wedding Photos in June 2019

Well, we’re now in July (how on earth did that happen?) and officially over half way through the year! We are now closer to Christmas 2019 than Christmas 2018! There’s been lots of Instagram excitement in June – as I mentioned last month, May and June this year have been particularly busy for me, so I’ve had lots of new weddings and previews hitting the top spots on my analytics this month. There was actually a draw for fifth place, so this month you have six images instead of five!

#Five

Joint fifth place this month is this shot of Heather and Brandon at their Coltsfoot Country Retreat wedding in early June. We took the opportunity after the ceremony and some group shots in the courtyard to nip out to the lane for some couples portraits. Heather and Brandon’s wedding was a lovely day with a multicoloured pastel colour scheme. Heather looked gorgeous in her dress by Ronald Joyce.

Also in fifth place this month is this frame I took at Kristina and David’s marriage ceremony at Islington Town Hall. I adore the gorgeous architecture and interiors in this building, and so we took a moment after their intimate ceremony of 7 people (including me!) to take a quick portrait in the corridors. The couple’s little girl was a bit upset to leave her mummy’s side for this photo so we had to be quick! Kristina looked absolutely gorgeous in her lovely jumpsuit from Phase Eight.

#Four

My fourth most popular Instagram post this month is this shot of Sophia and David at their wintery Hengrave Hall wedding last November. I loved the splendour of the surroundings and Sophia and David certainly looked the part – they are absolutely stunning. Sophia’s Maggie Sottero gown was incredible and I loved that she combined it with a gorgeous coat to keep out the winter chills. You can see more from this lovely wedding on my blog here.

#Three

This is a detail shot from Laura and Ben’s Offley Place wedding last August. It’s not necessarily the shot of shot that I’d expect to be big on my Instagram grid but I think people really liked the idea and simplicity of the table plan. Each of the tables at Laura and Ben’s wedding reception were named after a different type of flower, and these flowers decorates the centrepieces of each table. The table plan had a white bloom of each of the different flowers in a vase, with handwritten pegs accompanying each one. Such a simple idea and so pretty! See more from this lovely wedding on my blog here.

#Two

My second most popular Instagram post this month was this double post of Chloe and Will’s gorgeous day at Dodmoor House in October last year. Such a beautiful couple and a gorgeous wedding. I blogged about this wedding this month, and this post accompanied that blog. You can head over to have a read of it here.

#One

This month’s most popular Instagram post is this one of the lovely Georgina and Mike (Woody) at the wonderful Longstowe Hall in Cambridgeshire. It was my first time working at this lovely venue and we were so lucky with the weather – it was beautifully warm and sunny, just perfect for their outdoor ceremony by the lake. Just as their guests took their seats for dinner, we paused to grab this shot of the newlyweds outside the gorgeous house at Longstowe. The lake was so still that it provided the perfect reflection!

So that was June’s top posts – and you got a little extra one in there too as there was a draw! It’s so much fun looking back over the month to see what people have liked from my feed each month, so please do continue to like and comment on your favourite shots on my Instagram account, and contribute to next month’s run down of my top posts! See you in August!
