My Top Five Instagram Posts This Month | Best Wedding Photos in April 2019

It’s May! And wedding season has well and truly started for me. We’re right into the swing of things now and I’ve already been enjoying the most gorgeous wedding days with some amazing clients! I have seven weddings in the next 4 weeks though – so I thought I’d blog while I had the chance!!

As always I’ve taken a look at the old Instagram analytics to find out what the Insta-hive-mind liked the most on my feed over the last month. This month’s top photo is one of my most engaged-with posts on Instagram – EVER!!

#Five

Love this speech reaction shot from Issy and Alistair’s Milling Barn wedding in the winter of 2017. Every good best man’s speech involves the groom getting a bit of a rinsing and this one was no exception! I do love a good belly laugh mid-speech. I only wish I could remember what was said to illicit this reaction!! Take a look at more from this beautiful winter wedding here (the flowers are especially epic!)

#Four

There’s lots of floral inspo in this month’s roundup – this is the first of my detail oriented posts! These beautiful flowers were created by the wonderful Maples Flowers based in Hemel Hempstead, for Amy and her bridesmaids at her wedding to Mark in September 2017. I really love the colours, which went perfectly with the slightly pastel/neon geometric vibe of the day. You’ll see what I mean by popping over to the blog I put together about their wedding here.

#Three

In at number three are some more exquisite floral details! This buttonhole belongs to the lovely Will, of Will and Chloe, who you will get to meet very soon on my blog. I have been so excited to share this wedding as it is just so beautiful! Chloe and Will were married in Northampton in 2018 and I am totally in love with all aspects of this wedding, particularly the florals, created by Bare Blooms. This buttonhole was something special, and it seems my Insta audience thought so too!

#Two

All the details this month! This is the set up from a stunning seaside wedding in Whitstable that I second shot at in 2017 with my good friend Michael O’Sullivan Photography. Just look at all the ribbons, hanging flowers and table flowers! Each guest had a personalised lego character as their favour/place setting too which was super cute! See more on my blog here.

#One

And finally this month is this amazing shot of the gorgeous Laura having a bit of dress swishing action at Offley Place last summer. After their dinner and speeches, this gorgeous streak of golden sun shone down on the front of Offley Place and I jumped at the chance to get Laura and Ben into it for some photos. Sadly it started raining but they were still keen despite that and we captured some incredible ethereal shots in the golden rain. And then Laura started swishing her beautiful Maggie Sottero gown!! See more from this wedding here.

So that’s April! These were my most popular and most engaged with posts last month. Hop on over to my Instagram account to follow me and have your say about your favourites for May! You can see my previous top Instagram posts here!

Enjoy the rest of May – I can’t believe we’re over half way through already!!
