My Top Five Instagram Posts This Month | Best Wedding Photos in February 2019

Wowsers – we’re into month three of 2019! I know February is a short month, and it’s never really been my favourite of the year, but I just can’t believe how speedily it’s disappeared. (I promise I won’t start every monthly post by banging on about how fast time is going!)

I’ve not been up to all that much this month, which has been quite nice! It’s been fun to have a bit of time catching up with business bits, getting organised for the year ahead but also spending some time with my little one, before the madness of the summer hits.

Here’s my rundown of the top posts on my Instagram from the last month. I actually took part in an #Instabizweek challenge where I posted a photo of me on my feed, and it’s had waaaay more engagement than my usual posts (you clearly all like photographs of my face!!). I haven’t included that in my Top Five, but it’s sort of unofficially sat down the bottom if you wanted to see it!

Here we go 🙂

#Five

Here’s the gorgeous Katie and Richard having a lovely time at the Henry Moore Foundation a couple of years ago. I love the kind words they had to say about my photography and approach to the day: ‘Becky made us feel really comfortable throughout the day and was super chilled out and relaxed, which is very much like the two of us. She was so easy to have around which I think added to why her photos were so good, as she was never invasive with the camera. Her photos were really relaxed and natural – we couldn’t be happier.’

It was lovely to share their words again on my Instagram account as well as this shot of the lovely couple which is one of my favourites from their day. You can see the full blog I posted about their wedding day online here.

#Four

How much fun is Claire having on this bouncy castle on her wedding day?! I absolutely love this shot from her wedding day to Martin last summer. They had an epic family festival wedding in a tipi at the wonderful Brook Farm, with a whole host of awesome suppliers. You can see lots more from their wedding day on my blog here.

#Three

I love this shot of Ben, awaiting the arrival of the beautiful Laura at church in Welwyn Garden City for their marriage ceremony last summer. This was one of my favourite weddings of 2018 and Laura and Ben are just so happy and in love. They celebrated a wonderful day at Offley Place. You can really see Ben’s emotions in this image, he’s so nervous but excited too! Check out more from their wedding on my blog here.

#Two

Here’s another shot from the amazing styled shoot that I worked on at North Mymms Park last year. This is the stunning loggia – an outside space for your wedding ceremony like no other. It’s truly stunning, and I used it lots during the styled shoot, but really wanted to take a step back and get some shots of it in all it’s glory from a distance! Have a look at more from this beautiful shoot on my blog here.

#One

This is a lovely frame from Laura and Tom’s wedding at Milling Barn last year. I love the giggles between the girls on a wedding day and this is a great example of the sort of natural and relaxed photos that I love to capture the most! Everyone is so happy and having fun on such a beautiful day! I blogged about this lovely summer wedding with beautiful sunshine and sunflowers last month and you can see more from it here.

And here’s my face…

Never a fan of putting my face on things really! But this was the most popular image on my Instagram last month, and while I didn’t want to feature it as one of my top five as it’s not a wedding related image and I didn’t take it, I thought I’d better include it as it was number one! This was taken by my good friend Damion Mower at the Nine Dots Portrait Day at the end of January. We were having a play with some new lighting equipment and some lovely Sony cameras! Thank you very much for the pic Damion!

As always, you can follow me on Instagram here on @beckyharleyphotog.

Keep an eye on what i’m up to and my most popular posts from March will be hopping up onto my blog sometime in early April!
