My Top Five Instagram Posts This Month | Best Wedding Photos in July 2019

Hello August!

Well I don’t know about you, but I’ve just about lost the plot with this ridiculous summer weather we’ve been having! Boiling sunshine (after my last round up we had to endure that heatwave (it got up to 38 degrees C in my corner of Hertfordshire!!) as well as storms, gale force winds and torrential downpours! Totally bonkers, but that’s the UK I suppose!

Anyway, on with this months round up of my Top Instagram posts in July.

Last month gave me a slight bit of respite from the hectic May and June with multiple weddings every weekend. July was a little more sedate, with only 4 weddings in my diary, but with lots of catching up I was still kept extremely busy. Here’s the July count down, some lovely weddings for your perusal and a bit of family fun too!

#Five

In at number five is this gorgeous confetti shot from Frankii and Louie’s wedding at the beginning of July. This was their sneaky peek the day after the wedding, and I couldn’t resist sharing such a happy moment! I’ve been busy working on their gallery and the rest of the wedding is just as gorgeous!
Frankii and Louie were married in Welwyn, with their reception at the lovely Coltsfoot Country Retreat – one of my favourite local venues. I loved Frankii’s gorgeous Enzoani Dress which she bought from Heritage Brides (a beautiful boutique in the grounds of Hatfield House).

#Four

Fourth most popular image this month is of Naomi and Ben with their gorgeous girls a their family shoot in Welwyn Garden City. I’ve been photographing this beautiful family for years now, right from when Jasmine was a bump, and now they’ve welcomed her little sister Summer, it was only right to make sure we got out and about for some more photos! This cornfield was the perfect spot for some family fun, as we took a little detour out of the woodland trail at Moneyhole Lane Park in WGC.
I don’t talk about my family shoots all that often but if you’d like more info you can pop over to the page here.

#Three

Ann-Marie and Luke booked me for their October 2019 wedding last year, and a few months ago got in touch to ask about the possibility of adding a pre-wedding shoot to their booking. I was really happy, as it’s always great when couples decide they’d like a pre wedding shoot. It really gives me the opportunity to get to know them better, but it also helps to put the couple at ease in front of the camera and realise that it’s really not so bad having their photos taken after all! I think Luke would be the first to say that he was a little apprehensive about the prospect of a pre-wedding shoot but he told me at the end that it was a whole lot better and more enjoyable than he expected! That’s what I aim for!
I loved this shoot at Myddleton Gardens in Enfield – there were so many beautiful spots to investigate for photos and just look at the colours of these glorious wildflowers!! My favourite! Check back later in the year as I’ll no doubt be blogging about their autumnal wedding!

#Two

One of my faves – this is Laura and Ben at their wedding last summer. A beautiful couple who didn’t let a bit of rain spoil their day. We were blessed with a lovely bit of golden sunshine later in the evening, which was completely magical – you can check out more from the day on my blog here.
Laura looked resplendent in her Maggie Sottero gown and her flower crown by The Ivy Florist. The couple celebrated at Offley Place (another of my favourite venues) after their church wedding in Welwyn Garden City.

#One

The top photo this month features the beautiful Suzannah and Tom and their Oxford City wedding, which you will remember from last month as it featured heavily then too (just so pretty!). I blogged about this wedding last month too, which is why it’s popping up lots!! You can see the blog here.
One of my favourite things about this wedding was Suzannah’s incredible wedding dress – Daystar by Abigail of Gardenia. She looked incredible. I also loved Tom’s groom look too – black tie is always a winner!

So there’s this month’s run down – some gorgeous images from a range of weddings! I’m so excited to start sharing more of the work I’ve done this summer with you – but for the moment I’m working away on the edits! I’m trying to blog a few bits here and there, but the main bulk of this years weddings you’ll see once things have calmed down a bit after a crazy busy season.

I just had a little look at what’s currently the most engaged with so far in August and there are some lovely shots that I’m so excited to share with you next month! Keep an eye out!
