My Top Five Instagram Posts This Month | Best Wedding Photos in March 2019

Here we are again, and once again, I’m a bit late in the month with this round up! In my defence, I have spent the best part of the month on holiday, and we all need a bit of time off now and then!

This months top Instagram images come from a variety of places and feature a couple of blog posts that have been published on my website this month. I’ve been writing quite a few blogs lately that I’m excited to share!

Take a look below at my top Instagram images in March 2019:

#Five

Check out these gorgeous do’s. My lovely friend and excellent hair stylist Claire from Barberella Bridal Hair gave me some invaluable tips and advice to share with you about how to go about choosing a hair stylist for your wedding. Claire is an incredible stylist who I am excited to have worked with many times (check out her work at Katie and Richard’s wedding, Laura and Tom’s wedding, this luxury styled shoot and this rustic shoot). I always highly recommend her, not only for her lovely personality and great customer care, but also for her absolutely gorgeous work. She styled both of the models in this image that accompanied my blog post last month, and also does exquisite up-do’s which are really relaxed and beautiful. You should definitely check her out!

#Four

I really love this shot from Amy and Mark’s Coltsfoot Country Retreat wedding. Mark is making himself very useful carrying Amy’s beautiful Maggie Sottero dress as we made our way out for some portraits just in front of the venue. I have lots of weddings at Coltsfoot Country Retreat this year and I am so excited to get shooting. The team there are so lovely and they really go above and beyond to make your day absolutely incredible. You can see more from Amy and Mark’s wedding here, and you can also check out a bit more about the venue in general on my Coltsfoot page here.

#Three

This cake got soooo much love on Instagram when I posted this picture last month! It was taken at a gorgeous seaside wedding in Whitstable at the Beacon House, which I second shot for my good friend Michael O’Sullivan. I really like second shooting for other photographers as it gives me the chance to focus on details and pretty things (especially when it’s a wedding like this) and also to try out new things and experiment a bit! If you think this cake is pretty, you should see the rest of the wedding! (Check it out here) Serious flower goals right there. It was a stunning outdoor ceremony that looked right out on to the beach. I loved everything about it! Before you ask, the cake was made by the bride herself (I know, right!) so it’s not one that I can tell you who to get in touch with to book!

#Two

I always seem to be sharing shots from this styled shoot in my monthly roundups – and I can see why people love it! I adore the luxe touches, the dress, the hair, the cake, styling and everything. Just so stunning. The shoot took place at North Mymms Park which is an incredible luxury wedding venue in Hertfordshire. Take a look at the full blog for more gorgeous shots like this one!

#One

The top shot on my Instagram in March was of the wonderful Sarah and Alex who were married at the Alswick Barn in November last year. This is a gorgeous venue at any time of year, but it was particularly autumnal in November, with beautiful colours in the trees. I particularly like this combination of shots as it shows the wedding by day and by night. I love to do a little evening portrait if I can, before I leave. The shot on the right was taken just at the front of the entrance to the barn. You can see more from this lovely wedding on my blog here.

Hope you enjoyed this month’s run down! Take a look at my previous top Instagram posts here, and don’t forget to follow my Instagram for more of the day to day posts that don’t make the monthly cut for my blog!

You can also take a look at all of my Hints and Tips posts and other bits that you might find interesting and/or useful for planning on my website here. I feature real weddings here, engagement shoots here, and I from time to time I write about some awesome local suppliers who you should definitely check out here.

Until next month… adios!
