Madingley Hall was the setting for this beautiful Persian-influenced wedding in Cambridge last year. With a gorgeous gown, lovely flowers and a beaming bride and groom – not to mention the most amazing sunlight, this was a really special day.
The day began with the bridal preparations, and there were lots of laughs as the final touches were made to everyone’s make up and hair were made. Once the dress was on, it was time to make our way to the ceremony, where the handsome groom was waiting for his new bride. After some very sweet personal vows and promises, and some tears from the mother of the groom, we headed back down to the terrace for canapés and bubbles! I stole the newlyweds away for 20 minutes of portraits in the incredible grounds of Madingley Hall – there are so many lovely spots there, including a fabulous tunnel of greenery!
After some delicious food it was time for the speeches, and as they finished I noticed the most incredible sun beaming down on the hall, so I quickly swept the couple outside for a few more portraits with the stunning light.
The evening entertainment came in the form of a brilliant ceilidh band, which certainly had everyone dancing, and was a fantastic end to a really special day!
