Wedding Consultation Information

  • Your big day is nearly here!!

    To help me with putting together your day plan, and to get an idea of what will be happening on your wedding day, I'd be grateful if you could complete this form with as much detail as possible.

    There are quite a few questions, but all this information will really help to make the day run smoothly!

  • Useful on-the-day contact information

  • Please provide names of key members the Wedding Party, and contact numbers if it would be handy for me to reach them on the day.
    (Eg. Best Man, Maid of Honour, Bridesmaids, Ushers, Mother of the Bride/Groom, Father of the Bride/Groom, Siblings etc.)
  • Getting Ready

  • What time will Prep begin? When will make up/hair begin and what time will you be getting dressed?
  • Is there anything I should know about parking here?
  • (If wedding is at a different venue)
  • I'll be sure to capture the venue stationery later in the day but if you'd like photos of your invitations, please ensure a batch is brought with you on the day of the wedding. It might be an idea to give this to someone who is getting ready with you on the day, or leave it with your other small details you'd like captured for me to capture first thing.
  • If you're getting ready separately, I will typically spend the morning with just one of you for your preparations. If you are having a second photographer who will be documenting other preparations, please complete the following details. Just leave these blank if you haven't booked a second photographer.
  • If you're having a second photographer on the day, they will be spending the morning with whoever isn't having preparations documented by Becky! Let me know the timings for those preparations here.

  • Please let me know the expected arrival time if travelling to the reception after the ceremony
  • Perhaps a loud-voiced usher, someone from the venue, or a professional toastmaster?
  • Group Photographs

    Please specify names for each group shot – this saves a lot of time on the day! Note that an entire group shot of all guests can take up to 15 mins, and each family shot can take 4 mins. (Please note that a shot of all wedding guests is weather dependent)

    I usually recommend about 8-10 group photos to keep this session to a manageable length for you and your guests, and to ensure you enjoy your day fully (remember you will be stood there for all of them, not enjoying your reception!)

    See below for some suggestions of the most common group shots.

  • Please be sure to include all names to make sure we don't miss anyone out!

  • Usually two people designated to round up each of your families works best. Please let them know that they have been chosen to help me gather people! You can provide them with the day plan once it's completed, and group shot list above. Having these helpers will really make the group shots happen much faster and more smoothly for you!
  • Wedding Breakfast & Evening Celebrations

  • If so, what time will it begin?
  • I usually take these from you once you have sat down for your meal, if there's not been an opportunity to capture them in the morning, as it's usually the first time of day I can get a shot of all rings together!
  • Who will be speaking?
  • Where shall I/we sit during the meal?
    Who should I talk to about the meal (caterer/venue contact)?
    *Please note to your caterer that it is helpful for me to receive my meal ASAP after the top table during the dinner, so that I can get back to photographing sooner and be in place for speeches, thanks!*

    Please provide web links for your supplier dream team so I can contact them in advance if required, give them credits on social media and fully credit their work if I blog about your wedding
