Zoe and Darryl asked me to photograph their big day early on in 2018. I was really excited – I know Zoe well as I’ve been going to her Kettlebells classes for about three years (they are hard work but soooo good!) and so I was delighted that she wanted me to be a part of her and Darryl’s wedding day!
They had booked my Complete Collection for their wedding day at Fanhams Hall in July 2018 (a post about their wedding will be online in the next couple of weeks!) so we made sure to find some time to meet up for the pre-wedding shoot which is included in the Complete Collection.
We decided to meet up in Welwyn Garden City as we both live there, and Zoe suggested Sherrardspark Wood, which is a lovely spot. We were just at the beginning of what was to be a super hot summer, and it was pretty toasty as we walked around the (very hilly) woods! It was just a taste of what was to come though – wait til you see the photos from their wedding day – it was an absolute scorcher!!
I do love pre-wedding shoots, it’s an excellent way of helping my couples to feel happy and comfortable in front of the camera! Zoe and Darryl said they were a bit nervous but I think they were awesome in front of the camera and I really enjoyed their pre-wedding shoot!
